Inauguration of the new toilets at Lukla school

The Lukla-Chaurikharka Association has achieved the construction of toilets for the pupils at Lukla school. The inauguration took place at the end of September 2016 in the presence of the builder, Sonam, and of the instigator of the school, Appa Sherpa, our on-site confidant for the last 32 years.

Finally, the boys and girls have separate toilets. Everything is working well and each child is responsible for maintaining the premises clean and tidy !
